ACA membership is free, but is required for inclusion in the communications related to the organization, such as convention calls, new blog posts, ACA news updates, and new issues of the journal and for the opportunity to hold an office in ACA.
Membership in ACA offers a set of resources for Communication administrators:
The Journal of the Association of Communication Administration provides an academic forum for publication and conversation amongst administrators.
Meeting annually as an affiliate organization with the National Communication Association (NCA), ACA offers panels, papers and discussions aimed directly at sharing knowledge and expertise.
Through the ACA website, members gain access to current articles and can participate in a blog on administrative issues and challenges.
Access to chairs, department heads, deans, provosts and presidents who are members of the Communication discipline, convention panels, the ACA journal, and leadership opportunities.
